Monsters/Witches and more fun this week in the art room!

Hello all!

This week some of the the younger grades started focusing on the fun holiday of Halloween

As my one 3rd grade classes told me, we traveled to Halloween Land!!! They make me laugh!

Pre-k focused on creating scarecrows! We talked about how art can both serve a function and also be decorative!! Pictures of those to come! Students finished drawing, next week we will paint!!

Kindergarten finished up their scary monsters! We read the book Where the Wild Things Are and students used their imagination to create their very own "wild things." Students had fun learning about paint brush techniques and got to know Mr. Brush!
